Great video clip from great director (AKB's Kaze Wa Fuiteiru director, and tons of his state-of-the-art video clips)
And to think that there are a lot of similarity between this and Kaze Wa Fuiteiru video
The main difference is on its level of insanity. Momoclo simply put on another level of insanity, because it's their image.

I write a little narration which I hope it fits with this video's storyline:

They watch a kid plant seeds and make them instantly grow into dark trees. And then they show up from behind of each tree and start haunting that kid. They combine into somekind of tree monster and shoot lasers from their eyes to that poor kid. After changed that kid their kind, another side of them, their light-side appear. They start to pray and make their dark-side gradually disappear. They purify that poor kid and make the dark tree blossoms. They also make the darkness disappear and change it into beautiful day. More importantly, "They" are one, no matter they choose to be the dark or the light. They are "They".

Even though I'm a casual MomoClo fan at best, I always love looking at their MVs because they're by far the most unique idol MVs! This one is no exception - it's so cool!

Momoclo never dissapoints! Just when you think they can't get any more crazy, they bring out a whole other level of crazy!
I don't really like PV's where there aren't that many scene changes, because it can get boring, but this isn't boring at all; it's a nice change~

THIS is the reason why they're popularity is growing rapidly, because they stand out and don't stick to the same old idol formula. call it what you want but momoclo will not be giving any types of fuqs as they party it up in their sold out arena/dome concerts

I don't know how why you can call it cheap, but hiring two famous people (Hotei Tomoyasu for Music and Kuroda Hideki for Video) to make this video clip?

This PV is hardly cheap. Aside from what was mentioned by DomScatterbrain, those wigs would probably be worth upwards of $100 each, considering their style, the fact that they're dyed, and their quality. Since there's 11 of them in the music video, that's at least $1100 on wigs alone. Not to mention the LED lights and the programming for them on the dresses - that has to be a good chunk of money, too. Along with the dresses - that fabric doesn't look like cheap stuff, and with how well they're tailored, they have to have gotten someone better than usual (for idols) to make them. And there's two sets of those. There's also the 3-walled set, which might not sound like a lot, but two extra walls mean more material and more building hours. Oh, and you have two sets of 5 fake life-size trees, not to mention the tree-branch thing at the end of the music video. Then there's the extra actress.

Seriously, as much as I hate to say it, if you want to see a cheap PV, go look at anything Hello!Project has put out in the last 6 or 7 years.

there are 16 wigs technically at least in the PV, the one scene where they are dancing altogether with the lasers is a different set of wigs or one massive wig for 5 heads

^^Um, you called what is pretty obviously a high budget PV cheap then go on to say "just because they pay for expensive___" O__o. Sounds like you're throwing shade but everyone's entitled to their opinion so it's a non-issue.
